Strategic Partners
The CI-ISAC ecosystem is collectively supported by a number of strategic partnerships established both locally and abroad.
Please note: CI-ISAC does not enter partnerships with individuals; the information on this page is aimed at incorporated legal entities.
CI-ISAC operates a blended partnership model, enabling multiple options for entities not classified as Critical Infrastructure to support the CI-ISAC membership. The Partner Agreement, CSP Agreement and Operating Rules are designed to ensure that the interests of members are always put first.
Commercial services may not be directly targeted at the membership; however, partner capabilities can be inferred by their supporting contributions and members are free to initiate contact with partners based on their individual needs.
Should material value to the membership be identified, CI-ISAC may at its discretion negotiate an agreement with partners to make capabilities available to the membership at a preferential rate.
Partner Information Sharing
CI-ISAC will never share identifying member-contributed intelligence with partners or outside entities without the explicit consent of the contributing member.
- NCI-TIF advisory (Gold/Platinum) partners will have specific anonymised member threat information shared with their intelligence teams to add additional context back into CI-ISAC, with no onward sharing allowed.
- Partners who share threat information into CI-ISAC, which results in a confirmed member ‘sighting’ will in return be informed of the sighted indicator, sighting date and member sector.
Commercial Partners
CI-ISAC operates a selective commercial partnership model whereby we engage specialist security vendors who align with CI-ISAC's mission and are able to conitrbute intelligence and capabilities to the ecosystem.

Non-Commercial Partners
Additional opportunities exist for partner entities to collaborate with CI-ISAC to support the overall aims and objectives of the membership.
Examples of non-commercial partnerships include the ability to collaborate on threat-sharing projects or to work together to augment or build capabilities for the membership.
Non-commercial partnerships have no financial obligation/commitment for either party and are captured in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which outlines the agreed scope. CI-ISAC may agree to enter into an MOU with a commercial partner in addition to their existing agreement to collaborate on a specific project or formalise threat-sharing arrangements.
The following list is non-exhaustive and provides examples of potential collaboration opportunities between CI-ISAC and non-commercial partners.
